      SLD (SILVERBACK LADIES DESIGN)

Silverback Ladies Design means that the bicycle is set up to better suit women's anatomy and body proportions. This on the Splash means narrower handlebars, thinner grips, adjusted gear ratios, shorter stem and a women's specific saddle.

      ADAPTED POP GEOMETRY

Silverback's Position of Power geometry. Geometry designed to engage bigger muscle groups in pedalling, producing more power output for the same amount of input. Longer frame places the rider forward, in a more balanced position, improving grip on the rear on climbs and on the front on descents. A longer wheelbase and slacker head angle means more control at speed. Geometry on the Splash is adapted to offer more comfort.

    • WHY IT’S BEST.

      1. Splash is designed around the needs of real world female riders, with input from riders.
      2. 1x drivetrain simplifies the use of gears and de-clutters the handlebars, makes for easier and cheaper maintenance and sheds some weight off the bike.
      3. The easy to set up SR Suntour suspension fork takes the sting out of harsh trails.
      4. Splash Sport is fitted with quality Tektro hydraulic disc brakes.
      5. Trickle down technology means that the Splash has class leading features like progressive geometry, tapered headtube and internal cable routing.
      6. Rack and fender as well as kickstand ready! Ride trails or commute - Splash is ready.

      ENGINEERING NOTES.

      HYDRO FORMED ALLOY FRAME

The Splash features a class leading frame. Trickle-down technology means that the new frame benefits from our leading platforms. The frame tubes are hydro-formed into complex shapes to increase strength and stiffness, minimizing weight and excess material use - resulting in a lighter bike for female riders. All Splash frames are now internal dropper post ready.

      SUSPENSION FORK

The Splash Sport is fitted with a purpose chosen SR Suntour 100mm suspension fork. A suspension fork improves comfort and traction on a hardtail mountain bike. The SR Suntour XCE is a dependable component.

      1X DRIVETRAIN

Silverback fits 1x drivetrains to as many bikes as we can. 1x offers less maintenance, is more intuitive to use and offers a wider gear range than 3x group sets. We spec our 1x8 drivetrain and 32t 1x N/W chainrings on the Splash Sport in favour of climbing, rather than flat terrain top speed. Everyone can benefit from easier climbing.

      SURFACE TUBELESS READY WHEELS

Surface Wheels fitted to the Splash are pre-taped at the factory and tubeless ready from the box. Easy to set up, just add sealant and inflate to seat.

      LOW STANDOVER

The new Splash frame is designed with super low standover. This means more maneuverability, easier mounting and dismounting and also confidence both on the trails, or even just standing at a traffic light. And helps to make the bike perfectly suited to female riders.

      SPORT ADAPTED POP GEOMETRY

Position of Power -Geometry designed to engage bigger muscle groups in pedalling, producing more power output for the same amount of input. Longer frame places the rider forward, in a more balanced position, improving grip on the rear on climbs and on the front on descents. A longer wheelbase and slacker head angle means more control at speed.

      HYDRAULIC DISC BRAKES

Splash Sport features Tektro hydraulic disc brakes. Disc brakes offer dependable all weather performance. Great stopping power and decent modulation.

      SLD SPEC

Silverback Ladies Design means that the bike is set up to better suit women's anatomy and body proportions. This on the Splash Sport means narrower handlebars, thinner grips, adjusted gear ratios, shorter stem and a women's specific saddle.
